Your privacy

What we collect

• When you join the list: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
• When you share a story: what you write, any photos or voice notes you send, your name and your email.
• A scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to stop spam. We do not keep your actual address.

How we use it

• To send you the stories you signed up for.
• To read the stories you send, and to reach you about them. If we feature a story, we send it to you first. Nothing goes live without your OK.
• If you asked for first name only, we only show her first name.

What we never do

We never sell your information or give it to anyone to market to you. Photos and stories you send stay private unless you approve a feature.

Your choices

You can leave the list any time. To leave, to take down a story, or to have us delete anything you sent, email contact@iamshakori.com and we will take care of it.
